California Coastal Commission to Review North Embarcadero Project in April

A decision on a joint plan to revitalize the downtown North Embarcadero has been delayed until the California Coastal Commission’s April 14-16 meeting in Ventura.
A public hearing on the proposed North Embarcadero Visionary Plan was held yesterday, Feb. 11, 2010, at the Commission meeting in Oceanside. The project is a collaborative effort between the Port of San Diego, Centre City Development Corporation and the City of San Diego.
During the next few weeks, the Port and Coastal Commission staffs will work cooperatively on resolving the remaining issues.
